How to Request Account Deletion

To request that your account be deleted, follow these steps:

1. Open the Gym Art app (Gym Art Meets, Gym Art, or Judge's Companion) where your account exists, or contact us if you cannot access it.
2. Send an email to info@gymart.org from the email address associated with your account.
3. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line and state that you wish to delete your account.
4. We will confirm your identity and process your request. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Data That Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the following:

• Account credentials (email, username, hashed password)
• Profile information (name, profile photo, preferences)
• User-generated content linked to your account (routines, saved data in the Gym Art app)
• Subscriptions and payment information tied to your account
• Usage and activity data associated with your account

All user account data will be deleted.

Data That May Be Kept

We may retain the following where required by law or for legitimate purposes:

• Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you
• Backup copies for the retention period described below, after which they are purged
• Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., tax, compliance)

Retention Period

After we process your deletion request, your account data is removed from active systems. Any remaining copies in backups or archives are purged within 30 days. Records we must keep for legal or regulatory reasons may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
